About Me
I am Nickolas Krueger, a current DePaul student going for a BFA Film and TV Production degree with a concentration in editing and a minor in screenwriting. Through self-teaching in high school I learned how to edit and discovered I want to tell stories I feel need to be told. I am fueled by this genuine need in my heart to get stories out there for the world to see and for me to make them as best as they allow to be. This can be through my eyes as an editor on someone else’s project and collaborating, or completely coming up with my own. I am the biggest advocate for getting as many eyes on a project as possible and gaining suggestions and being fully open to any criticism (and hopefully praise) allowing me and my craft to forever evolve.
My craft has evolved so much already as my first ever project was just filming my high school cross country team and creating a docuseries on my own. The pacing on this is not the best. This evolved to making a hype video for the women’s team when they made it to state, and then creating my first short film, (both can be watched on my “Videography” page) leading to where I am at now, currently writing, trying to get my projects off the ground and also being an editor for fellow students (currently nine projects due to release this calendar year) and being incredibly excited for what the present and future holds.
Ask me anything and everything! Open to work!
